The Riding Lesson

Description

Whew! This took a LOT of work to color.

I'm so if you've ever been on a horse, you'll know that they get their own ideas about what to do. @.@

As for riding giraffes...it looks cool on paper, but in real life it'd be quite impractical with their height, long necks, and sloped backs. But...what if there were miniature giraffes?

The references for this are from my own photos of giraffes at the zoo, and the building is based off of this: [link]
Heavy inspiration from this deviation: [link]

I didn't notice a couple anatomy mistakes until I started inking.
-that kid's eyes
-size of the girl compared to the giraffe she's on :slow:
-said giraffe also probably has wonky legs

Lighting, perspective, anatomy errors? Crit is appreciated on this piece!

It seems rather unconfortable ( sitting almost 45 degrees :D ). But yeah, I know what you mean. Horses have sometimes the weirdest way to make mischief :D

Beside colouring, I´m sure you spent a lot of time and energy to draw that. I´m really amazed. Behold the power of prismacolor pencils :D
